A few notes about myself and my journal:

My name is Peo. Technically it's Peophin, but everyone just calls me Peo. (No, you don't get my real name.)

I am a student in high school and soon to be in college. I generally fangirl over anime/manga, Japanese dramas, books, TV shows, the like. My journal contains mostly real life stuff (so don't friend me if you don't want to hear about my boring life), but there are definitely a lot of fangirl spatterings.

My primary fandom is Prince of Tennis. I worship the manga versions of Saiyuki and Fullmetal Alchemist, and anything by Kaori Yuki. Other fandoms I fangirl (but post about less) include Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Whistle!, Mushishi, DOGS, Getbackers, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, etc. etc. TV shows include Dexter and House. Books include anything by Neil Gaiman, various books by Diana Wynne Jones or Anne Bishop and such, and Animorphs.

Note:
-If you friend me, please comment here if you want to be friended back. If you friend me randomly and I have no clue who you are, I will simply stare at my screen for a moment in confusion before moving on with my day.
-I would also prefer (though I don't require) that we have some interests in common, so that we can actually bond about stuff instead of just sitting on each other's f-lists.
-I'm bad at actually friending people myself (I tend to be incredibly shy), so if I know you and like you and haven't friended you yet, say something XD
-I don't comment incredibly much, mostly because I can't think of something groundbreaking to add a lot of the time 8|;

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood was doing just fine, I thought. Until it hit episode 12. The part where they meet up with Izumi again, and go into flashback mode to the beginning of their training? Totally changed around. And I can't say I think it was for the better.

Here's why I'm still pissed.

...it was originally going to be a top ten post, but I could only think of nine artists. XD Anyway, the title speaks for itself: below is an epic-length pimp post for my favorite music artists of all time. :|b

And THAT, my friends, is the end of part 1. This is really supposed to be just an introduction to each of these artists, which is why I only have individual songs. Look forward to the soon-to-be-appearing part 2: top however-many-I-find-this-time albums! Which is very different from artists, mind you. Can you tell I'm a music obsessor.

GReeeeN PIMP POST

Hokay. Anyone who knows me should be well aware that I am an insane fan of this band. (If you didn't know that-- well, NOW YOU KNOW.) Since this band is AWESOME and totally can never have enough fans, I am making it my mission in this post to detail to anyone who might care just who and what GReeeeN are.

A note that most of this information can be found already if you do a search, as... well... not much is known about them. So a lot of this is just a rehash. It is known amongst most fans of Prince of Tennis that the American publisher, Viz, is complete crap at translating the series.

There, that sounds better, doesn't it?

Harsh, but, as many fans would agree, very true. There are lots of mistakes in Viz's Tenipuri-- from little common mistakes to horrible blasphemies. Here is an outline of many [but probably not all] of them.

After much toil, I present to you the first nine pages of chapter one of my as-of-yet unnamed doujinshi.

It's set in an AU fantasy sort of world, with Tezuka as the prince, Fuji as a swordsmith's apprentice, and Ryoma as an assassin-for-hire. Various other characters make guest appearances.

This is only the very beginning of what could potentially be a very long and time-consuming project. Pages under the cut:

What Every Grocery Shopper Should Know

...I've been getting really into Katekyo Hitman Reborn lately. o_o; I blame my parents. They bought me the first two volumes for my birthday. Now I'm baaaaack. ...I still can't really see many of the pairings, though. Besides Gokudera/Yamamoto. And maybe Dino/Hibari? ...Ah well. Gokudera is by far my favorite [and I say this having read through the future arc, with spoilerz], but that doesn't stop me from fangirling Hibari whenever he arrives XD

Anyway. MEME TIME~ Remember that one drabble meme that was going around?

1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it's over. No lingering afterwards!
4. Do ten fifteen of these, then post them.

Upped the number because I got to ten and was like "...I wanna write more D:" xD;; All Tenipuri-related, various characters, various times and settings. But expect a lot of Hyoutei.

The only thing I will say is that 13 killed me DEAD, and that the scene in that one is part of a super-long fic I'm in the middle of. ...And I seem to be favoring Echizen more than usual in this. Huh.

There, in a series of oddball "coincidences," he runs into a former rival he never thought he'd see again. After that it's an emotional roller coaster ride as both try to sort out their newly returning feelings.

Notes: While walking around some of the expensive shops in Vegas, this popped into my head: "Is it bad that I can totally see Atobe here?" And thus, this monstrous thing exploded into my brain and demanded to get out. Much love and hugs to kaerstyne, who helped with details such as Tezu's occupation and Atobe's suite. Now you can find out why this took two weeks. ♥

( Well, I decided to get Tezuka and myself tickets for the show, and they just so happen to be right here! Isn't that a wild coincidence?! )
